Research Summary:
My current research focus centers around repurposing an FDA-approved iron nanoparticle for the treatment of brain cancers. Using cell culture and mouse models, we assess the ability of this drug to kill cancer cells, elicit an immune response, and provide overall survival benefits.
Why did you choose to attend PULSe:
I knew I would be attending PULSe as soon as I visited Purdue as a prospective student because I immediately felt comfortable here. PULSe provides a home for students with a variety of research topics to support each other rather than compete against each other.
