The Purdue Language Learning and Meaning Acquisition (LLaMA) lab uses a variety of methodological approaches(including behaviora, eye-tracking, computational & EEG) to examine how young learners acquire language. Current projects focus on understanding cognitive, linguistic, and sensory mechanisms of risk for language disorders, how learners develop skills to process language in real time, and building precision interventions in early language learning, among others.
