Research Areas:

My research interests focus on Randomization in Numerical Linear Algebra (RandNLA) and I have extensively worked on applications of RandNLA to Data Science, with a particular focus on genomic data.

Current Projects:

On the more applied side, I am always interested in the development on machine learning tools to improve the analysis of data from Genome-Wide Association Studies.

Importance of Interdisciplinary Research:

My research is fundamentally interdisciplinary, combining theoretical computer science, applied mathematics, and genetics to gain novel insights on the analysis of genomic data.
