Our research objectives will leverage biophysical techniques, bioinformatics, structural biology, analytical chemistry, biochemistry, and expand to synthetic biology.

Current Projects:

The Mydy lab aims to identify new plant natural products (compounds made by living organisms) for therapeutic and agricultural applications, characterize their biosynthetic pathways, engineer these compounds for improved efficacy, and determine its ecological role.
