Current Projects:

My specific research is on measures that reflect fairly peripheral processing in the auditory system, and whether this is adjusted by feedback mechanisms. This has implications for normal hearing and the effects of cochlear hearing impairment,

Importance of Interdisciplinary Research:

I couple my research with a physiological measure of the inner ear, otoacoustic emissions. The experiments also depend heavily on data from physiological research in animals on how the auditory system works.
