Research:
The Horticulture Crops Weed Science Lab quantifies weed-crop interactions and develops practical and novel integrated weed management solutions for horticulture crop producers.
Current Projects:
Multi-year plasticulture strawberry production; pumpkin tolerance to pre-plant and post-directed herbicides; organic sweetpotato weed management through cultural and mechanical controls; herbicide tolerance and efficacy trials in peppermint, watermelon, asparagus, and potato; sileage tarps and cover crops for reduced tillage weed management in potatoes and onions.
