Department:

Agronomy

Research:

Dr. Paul's research attempts to understand how anthropogenic modifications of the natural landscape impact various soil-related ecosystem services using a range of earth observation and geospatial data science techniques. Specifically, his lab is interested in studying the effects of land management and climate change on soil organic carbon, soil hydrology, water resources, and crop yield at local to regional scales.

Current Projects:

(1) Empowering Indiana's Organic Farmers: Assessing Regional And Farm Scale Soil Health With A Farmer Network (2) Modeling Landscape-Scale Dynamics Of Soil Organic Carbon And Associated Ecosystem Services For Sustainable And Resilient Agroecosystems
