Department:

Forestry and Natural Resources

Research:

My team focuses on the fascinating study of bird migration, employing a diverse array of tools and methods such as radar, acoustics, bird banding, RFID, and community science data. We delve into key migration topics, including avian flight strategies, long-term phenological changes, population estimates, the impacts of artificial light, and migration forecasting.

Current Projects:

We are exploring ways to generate new bird migration forecasts, develop tools for the quantification of light pollution, and understanding the impacts of climate change.
