Training Group:

Cancer Biology

Research Summary:

My research focuses on RNA-based therapeutics for cancer. In the Kasinski lab, we aim to overcome key challenges in specifically delivering microRNAs (miRNA) to tumor cells while minimizing off-target toxicity, and enhancing miRNA stability using chemical modifications.

Why did you choose to attend PULSe:

I chose PULSe because it was the only program that offered the flexibility to explore Cancer Biology across multiple departments. This interdisciplinary structure gave me more opportunities than any other program to approach cancer research from diverse perspectives

About Me: (Hobbies and Interests when not in lab):

Outside of academia, I’m passionate about sports, especially tennis. I have a great time staying active with friends, whether we’re running, swimming, hiking, or playing volleyball, tennis or pickleball
