Immunology

Research Summary:

I am working on the tumor microenvironment, which impairs natural killer (NK) cell function. My goal is to engineer NK cells to enhance their efficacy and prolong their survival within the TME. In parallel, I am developing brain organoids as high-throughput models for drug screening in Alzheimer's disease.

Why did you choose to attend PULSe:

PULSe gave me the opportunity to rotate through different labs, helping me explore my true passion in science. I could rotate across departments and research areas I was interested in, which broadened my perspective and helped me make an informed decision. PULSe is also very welcoming to international students. I’ve found a diverse and supportive community here, with people from all kinds of backgrounds.

About Me: (Hobbies and Interests when not in lab):

I find peace in rock climbing and swimming at COREC — they help me reset after long days in the lab. I also have lovely cats who bring me joy and emotional support. Life feels a lot better with them around!
