Research Summary:
My research focuses on modulating the immune system to overcome the challenges associated with treating solid tumors and achieve more durable and effective antitumor responses. Specifically, I'm developing a chimeric antigen receptor-based natural killer cell immunotherapy that targets brain tumor cells directly and modulates the tumor microenvironment to enhance immune activity and reduce immunosuppression.
Why did you choose to attend PULSe:
I chose PULSe because the rotations allowed me to explore different research areas that I am passionate about, particularly immunology, cancer and neuroscience, and to make an informed decision about which lab will be the best fit in terms of research and environment.
