Why did you choose to attend PULSe:

I got to know about PULSe and attended the information session in 2019. I was immediately drawn by the fact that it was an interdisciplinary program that wasn’t (which is still the case) restricted to one field of science. I loved the option of doing multiple rotations across campus, which was an avenue to meet new people, learn great science outside of the typical chemistry department niche and ultimately make informed decision of joining a research group. I still think PULSe provides an enriching avenue to apply the different skills and education we have garnered over years in areas that really excite us. That is, I get to pick where I want to apply my science and learn new stuffs!

About Me: (Hobbies and Interests when not in lab):

Outside of lab and when I am not studying, I enjoy cooking. I love trying to recreate recipes from other part of world that I have tried and enjoyed at restaurants. sometimes I outdo the restaurant standard, sometimes it’s a fail! I love spending time alone and recharging by reading my Bible and engaging in activities that edify me. Finally, I will choose sleeping over watching a movie anytime.
