the Virtual Experience

The Virtual Discover Purdue Experience invites talented juniors, seniors, and recent graduates to explore all that Purdue University has to offer—from anywhere in the world. This engaging online event is designed for exceptional students who may not otherwise have the opportunity to connect with Purdue’s vibrant academic community in person. Join us virtually to discover graduate programs, connect with faculty and current students, and take your first step toward a future at Purdue.

Event date: September 21, 2026, from 1:00pm to 5:00pm EDT.

information and deadlines

The nomination period for the 2026 Virtual Experience will run from July 15 through September 11, 2026.

To be considered for participation in this event, please contact the program you are interested in to request a nomination for 2026. Space is limited, and nomination selection is competitive. Please note that OGRS and the Graduate Admissions Office cannot nominate you.

The College of Engineering will not participate in the virtual Discover Purdue event because they are hosting their own Virtual Graduate Showcase designed specifically for prospective engineering students.

eligibility

This virtual experience is open to anyone interested in learning more about graduate education and the admissions process at Purdue University’s West Lafayette and Indianapolis campuses. However, participation in the virtual experience requires a nomination from your program of interest.

Those who are nominated will receive an email with the link for the Zoom registration on September 14, 2026 and it may take up to 72 hours for the registration to be approved. Please use the same email address for Zoom that was used for your nomination.
