Grants

At Purdue, we are committed to helping graduate students thrive academically, professionally, and personally. Grants offer targeted financial support that empowers Boilermakers to present research, complete research projects, and meet life’s demands along the way. Opportunities include both Purdue-managed programs and competitive external awards that extend your impact beyond campus.

OGSPS currently offers several travel grants. Explore the opportunities below to find the right fit for your goals and needs.

OGSPS is proud to administer a select group of travel grants funded by generous donors and designed to support Purdue graduate students as they advance their research, collaborate across disciplines, and engage in career-building experiences.

In addition to OGSPS Managed travel grants, graduate students are encouraged to consider applying for other grant opportunities, including those provided by the Purdue Graduate Student Government (PGSG) Graduate Resource and Advocacy Committee (GRAC). GRAC offers a wide array of grant programs to support graduate students in academic, professional, and personal transitions. Current funding opportunities include grants for conference travel, research projects, professional development, and transitional housing.

Grants can also be found through professional organizations, such as the Sigma Xi Grants in Aid of Research, foundations, and the private sector. The Pivot database is a useful resource for exploring more grant opportunities.
