  • Graduate Record Examination (GRE) or GMAT – Required in order to be accepted without conditions.  Average or 50th percentile recommended across all areas. (Residential only)
  • Writing Sample – That clearly conveys the ability to communicate in written form, such as a final term paper, excerpts from an undergraduate or graduate thesis, or a published article for which the applicant is the sole author. Please limit writing sample to five (5) pages or fewer. (Residential only)
  • Resume (1-5 Pages)

  • This program accepts the Office of the Vice Provost for Graduate Students and Postdoctoral Scholars basic requirements as described on the English Proficiency Requirements page.

  • Cumulative Grade Point Average from most recently conferred undergraduate, graduate, or professional degree:
    • 3.0 or equivalent (A=4.0)
  • Demonstration of a high level of competence in written communication as evidenced by a writing sample such as the academic statement of purpose, personal history statement, a prior thesis, a research paper, or other significant and personally written product
  • Personal and professional characteristics commensurate with success in academics in industry
