Students should review Purdue’s graduate credit stacking policies before submitting an application to a graduate certificate program. Students should carefully review course overlap between certificate programs and the number of unique credits for each certificate before applying for a graduate certificate. Students may only pursue concurrent graduate programs if both programs are offered within the same delivery method.
Residential Programs:
Current master’s students wishing to move to a doctoral degree program in this same graduate program will be required to submit a new application.
**International applicants are advised that completion of the on-campus Master of Science in Education degree, with a concentration in Learning Design and Technology (LDT), will take longer than two years to complete. Some required courses in the LDT master’s program are offered only in an online format. Full-time international graduate students must register for at least five credits of on-campus coursework each semester to meet visa requirements. Per university guidelines, 8 credits total is considered full-time for graduate students. This may impact international students’ progress and overall credit requirements in the on-campus LDT master’s program. For information on the Learning Design & Technology online program, please visit the online MSEd website.
