This program accepts the Office of the Vice Provost for Graduate Students and Postdoctoral Scholars basic requirements as described on the English Proficiency Requirements page.
Cumulative Grade Point Average from most recently conferred undergraduate, graduate, or professional degree:
3.0 or equivalent (A=4.0)
December 1st to be considered for fellowship and assistantship support for summer or fall admission
Applications are otherwise accepted year-round for spring, summer, or fall admission but must be accompanied by support from a member of the graduate faculty.

Bachelor’s level students are normally considered for either the M.S. or Ph.D. program. Bachelor’s levels students applying for admission to the Ph.D. program should have prior research experience and a strong academic record. Applicants are strongly encouraged to discuss their research interests with a member of the graduate faculty prior to applying.
