residency status
Update Your Residency Status
Your residency status — resident, non-resident or foreign — determines the tuition rate you pay at Purdue. Classification is set at admission and managed by the Office of the Registrar.
If you believe your classification is incorrect or your situation has changed, you may be eligible to apply for reclassification. Learn how residency is determined, what documentation you may need and how to submit an application.
Changing Your Visa Status
International students who want to change their nonimmigrant visa status must do so through the Office of International Students and Scholars.
