Closed Captioning
A new vendor, cielo24, has been contracted to provide video closed captioning services for Purdue. To meet universal access standards video materials must be captioned. Captioning by cielo24 is searchable, their turnaround is fast, and their prices are competitive.For more information about captioning services, contact ITaP at tlt@purdue.edu.
Assistive Technology Lab (ATL)
The Assistive Technology Lab (ATL) promotes an accessible information technology infrastructure at Purdue that is usable by all students, faculty, and staff regardless of disability status.
The ATL does this by providing:
- A means of access to information technology for students, faculty, and staff with disabilities at Purdue
- Consultation and training to those who teach students with disabilities at Purdue
- Consultation and training to those who support access to information technology for people with disabilities
