Instructional Technology
As a graduate teaching assistant, you may need to help your instructor integrate instructional technology in the classroom. Purdue-supported technology tools allow you to create an engaging and student-centered learning environment.
Below are several resources that Purdue offers to help with integrating technology in class:
- Innovative Learning’s Instructional Technology website outlines all of the Purdue-supported tools: https://www.purdue.edu/innovativelearning/tools-resources/instructional-technology/. Examples of highly used classroom technology include Kaltura Mediaspace, Hotseat, Peer Circuit, and more.
- To find out about the available technology in Purdue’s classrooms, go to technology in the classroom
- If you would like to capture your live lecture and publish it to your Brightspace course, go to the Boilercast website for information
- Instructors may wish to use web conferencing tools in any modality of teaching, whether Face-to-Face, Online, or Hybrid. Click here for a guide from Purdue Information Technology to learn more about web conferencing tools
