Fall Semester 2026

• Deadline for student housing contracts: May 5, 11:59 p.m. ET
  
  • Purdue University Residences prefers to receive housing applications by April 15 if possible
• (Optional) Boiler Gold Rush International Orientation: August 15-17
  • Move-in for BGRi participants takes place August 14
    
• (Optional) Boiler Gold Rush Orientation: August 18-22
  • Move-in for BGR participants precedes the orientation dates
    
• Recommended arrival for Non-BGR/BGRi participants: August 22-23
  
  • Prorated housing charges will be based on your move-in date
• Classes begin: August 24
  
• Labor Day holiday: September 7
  
• October Break: October 12-13
• Thanksgiving Break: November 25-28
• Final examinations: December 14-19
• Last day to check out of on-campus accommodation: December 20, 12 p.m. (noon)

Spring Semester 2026

• Residence halls open: January 7
• Recommended arrival at Purdue for new exchange students: January 10-11
• (Optional) Boiler Cold Rush Orientation: January 9-10
  • Move-in for BCR participants takes place January 8
• Classes begin: January 12
• Martin Luther King Jr. holiday: January 19
  
• Spring Break: March 16-21
• Final examinations: May 4-9
• Last day to check out of on-campus accommodation: May 10, 12 p.m. (noon)
