Fencing remains in place near the Black Cultural Center for utility work

Fencing will remain near the west side of the Black Cultural Center as a utility project nears completion. Access to the main entrance of the center is still being maintained with the west entrance serving as an emergency exit only. The Third Street corridor remains open while fencing is in place.

The project is expected to be completed in mid-October.

Pedestrians and bicyclists should use caution in the area and obey all posted signs.
