Purdue University Transportation Services strives to meet the transportation needs of faculty, staff and students.
Important Update
Daily and long-term rental vehicle reservations for university travelers have been transitioning from Purdue’s Transportation Services department to Enterprise over the past few years, and the transition will be completed on June 30.-
For traveler's with a Travel Card (TCard) should either book through the Purdue/Enterprise reservation link where the discount code will automatically be applied, by calling the local Enterprise branch at 765-463-4804, touch the star key to speak to a local Enterprise employee and reference the Purdue discount code (Purdue login credentials are required to view), or book through Concur where the discount code will automatically apply.

Travelers without a TCard should work with their business office to apply for one. Book directly through Enterprise using the first or second option above. As an alternative, a departmental Purchasing Card (PCard) may be used with permission from the business office.

Students who need to rent a vehicle for university business should seek a departmental PCard for payment with permission from their business office.

Student organizations should work with SAO for guidance on rental vehicles. Information is available on the Student Organization Transportation Requests webpage.

Hertz is another preferred vendor, and reservations may be made through them as an alternative. Visit the link above if a discount code is needed when booking.

A a Form 1 is no longer required to book vehicle rentals if travelers or their delegate book directly with Enterprise or through Concur.

Rental vehicles must be picked up within the business hours of the company being utilized. Vehicles may be returned outside of normal business hours. It is the traveler’s responsibility to validate the rental agency hours.

Our preferred car rental agency, Enterprise, has a location at the Purdue University Airport located at 1452 Aviation Drive in West Lafayette. Call 765-463-4804 and select * to speak to a local agent. This location will have the following hours beginning May 1:
- Monday-Friday: 7:30 a.m.-6 p.m.
- Saturday: 9 a.m.-12 p.m.
- Sunday: Closed
