Administrative Operations staff recognized with Bravo Awards for final quarter of fiscal year

Several Administrative Operations employees were recently recognized with Bravo Awards for going above and beyond during the final quarter of the fiscal year.

The Bravo Award program recognizes employees who excel in their job duties and meet one or more of the following award categories: Moving the University Forward, Innovation/Creativity, Operational Excellence and Fiscal Stewardship.

Bradley (Joe) Crowder, a steam utilities mechanic, was nominated by Joseph Arnett for Innovation/Creativity. After witnessing ice falling from a building roof that almost hit a pedestrian, Joe blocked off the area with tape he found in his utility vehicle and contacted the fire department.

“Joe was quick to make moves after observing a potentially dangerous situation,” said Joseph. “It is nice that the Bravo Awards are available to help recognize these kinds of actions that help keep the campus community safe.”
