Summer 2026 - Math Online Exam Proctoring
Purdue Testing Services (PTS) provides in-person proctoring support for select Summer Math Online exams. This is a Summer 2026 pilot program conducted in collaboration with the Math Department.
Eligibility
Students who are residing in the Greater Lafayette area during the summer and are unable to attend the free in-person exam sessions offered by the Mathematics Department may choose to test with Purdue Testing Services for a $35 non-refundable fee per exam.
Instructor Requirements
Before students can schedule an exam with Purdue Testing Services, the course instructor must submit a Testing Instruction Form (TIF) at least five (5) days prior to the first exam offering.
- The exam file does not need to be attached when the TIF is submitted.
- Instructors may submit exam materials at a later date according to the instructions provided by Purdue Testing Services.
Student Scheduling Requirements
Students must schedule their exam appointment with Purdue Testing Services at least 96 hours (4 days) before their desired testing time.
Appointments are available during PTS operating hours:
- Monday–Thursday: 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
- Friday: Closed
Students who miss the scheduling deadline will need to work directly with their instructor to discuss alternative testing arrangements that would not include Purdue Testing Services.
Steps to Schedule an Exam Appointment
- Click the RegisterBlast link in your Brightspace Course. If you cannot find this link, please contact your professor directly.
- Select a group from the drop down menu below Choose a Group.
- Continue to choose the correct option from any remaining Choose a Group drop down menus. This process narrows down your test selections.
- When Choose an Exam appears, select your precise exam.
- Click the Select a Date For Your Exam field to choose an available testing date from the calendar.
- Click the Choose a Time field to select an available testing time.
- Complete the personal information for the person who will be taking the test.
- Read the Exam Guideline Acknowledgement in the scroll box.
- Check the box under the scroll box, to acknowledge the guidelines.
- Complete the Needed Information.
- Click Add to Cart.
- If you need to add another exam, click Add Another Exam and repeat the previous process.
- Complete the credit card fields and click Purchase Exams.
- If you have completed all necessary registrations, click Complete Registration.
- Once you have clicked Complete Registration, your confirmation email will appear on the screen, you may print a copy for your records.
- Upon a successful transaction you will receive an immediate email confirmation receipt.
- If you do not receive an email confirmation receipt immediately upon booking your exam appointment, you were not successful in your booking request and will need to follow the steps again.
Students Outside the Greater Lafayette Area
Students who are residing outside of the Greater Lafayette area and need information about alternative proctoring options should consult the Math Remote Testing Information webpage or contact the Mathematics Department at math-remote-testing@purdue.edu.
