Procedures for faculty, staff and students to reserve non‑academic space at Purdue University in Indianapolis are outlined below. These spaces support meetings, programs and events held outside of academic instruction.
Purdue in Indianapolis groups should first try to utilize space that Purdue University manages, which includes conference rooms in the Engineering and Technology Building; Engineering, Science and Tech Building; and the Student Center. Outdoor space includes Boiler Park and 401 Courtyard. Scheduling and reservation methods are listed in the Purdue Managed Space section below by space category. If these spaces are unavailable or insufficient, then Indiana University Indianapolis (IUI) space may be considered and reserved using the processes outlined in the Non-Purdue Managed Space section below.
Departments are encouraged to submit Purdue and non-Purdue managed space requests 30 days prior to events/meetings. If no response is received within 10 business days, the single point of contact within the department should reach out to indyevents@purdue.edu.
For assistance planning a larger conference or event, please contact Purdue Conference and Event Design (PCED) at events@purdue.edu or call 765-494-8911.
