Watch for Teaching & Learning Technologies survey
The week of Mon., Sept. 14, all Purdue instructors teaching at the Indianapolis and West Lafayette locations will receive an email invitation to participate in a survey regarding the portfolio of tools Teaching and Learning Technologies (TLT) supports for instructors and students. The goal of the survey is to evaluate current offerings to measure instructor satisfaction, portfolio health, identify gaps, and ensure that our team is providing best-in-class experiences for our instructors and students at these locations.
In 2024 a similar survey provided data that is helping TLT drive excellence at scale. Three specific examples of tools added as a result of instructor feedback include:
- Helping instructors prepare for new compliance standards by adding Panorama and Simple Syllabus to our tool kit to save instructors time and make compliance with ADA Title II easier.
- Investing in artificial intelligence (AI) technologies that easily integrate with our tool kit by expanding Charlie, an AI-powered writing assistant, in all Circuit courses, continually adding relevant AI features to our current tools, and launching the pilot of Orbit, our newest chat bot tool.
- Launching the Spatial Computing Hub to help instructors continue to innovate in new areas of technology and make it more accessible to the wider Purdue audience.
