Jean Zavala, Ariana Torres, and Stephen Meyers, in collaboration with Purdue’s Departments of Entomology and Agronomy, have released an extension publication on Pest Management of Hemp. This study covers pest issues and management practices of hemp in Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Ohio, Oregon, and Wisconsin.
Ariana Torres was in Uzbekistan as part of the USAID Farmer-to-Farmer program. She gave 10 workshops as part of her Market Readiness Extension program and provided her market access expertise to Uzbek businesses and gave talks in agricultural and medical universities about consumer trends for foods.
