Indy to Anywhere Scholarship
The Indy to Anywhere Scholarship provides $500 in study abroad funding to support undergraduate students at the Purdue in Indianapolis location. Funding is provided by Global Programs and Partnerships.
Important Timeline: This scholarship launches for study abroad programs departing in Fall 2027 and beyond.
Eligibility
To be eligible, students must:

Be an undergraduate, degree-seeking student at the Purdue in Indianapolis location both at the time of application and during the study abroad program.

Participate in an approved, credit-bearing study abroad program through Purdue University (departing Fall 2027 or later).

Have not previously received this award (limited to one scholarship per student academic career).
Award Funding & Categories

New Beginners (Starting at Purdue in Indianapolis as new beginners Fall 2027 – Summer 2029): Guaranteed access to a one-time $500 scholarship to use at any point during their undergraduate career at Purdue in Indianapolis.

Continuing Students (Started at Purdue in Indianapolis prior to Fall 2027): Eligible for a one-time $500 scholarship, awarded on a first-come, first-served basis while funding remains available. This award is limited to first-time study abroad participants; students who have previously studied abroad are not eligible.

No separate application required: Enrollment in an approved program, via the Purdue Study Abroad website automatically enterers you for consideration.

Automatic verification: Academic and campus location eligibility are verified automatically on a weekly basis following program enrollment.

Status updates: Starting with Fall 2027 applications, eligible students will see award status updates directly on their MySA portal (portal tracking feature goes live after January 15, 2027).

Open criteria: No FAFSA is required, all residency statuses are eligible, and this award may be combined with other Purdue study abroad scholarships.
