Experience
I’ve worked at multiple stores within the Tippecanoe Mall for over 22 years. Most recently, I was the Store Manager for Tilly’s for over 11 years. I opened the 1st Tilly’s store in Indiana, and since then I have opened multiple other stores and have been the trainer for the District/Region.
Advice for the Future Boilermaker
Don’t be afraid to step out of your comfort zone. Meet new people! Some of those friendships could easily be some of your lifelong friends. Try new foods! There are so many different options to try. Enjoy your time here at Purdue. Put in the work, but also make time for yourself and have fun!
Fun Facts
- I met my husband Randall on a blind date. We now live in a log cabin in the woods and have 11 acres with a small creek. We have 2 kids (Ashton & Brooklyn) who both love sports and I’m definitely the vocal one at games. We used to have a deer farm and even had triplets born during our son’s high school graduation party. It was such a cool experience for people at the party to see.
- I love to cook and thrift shop.
- I like to karaoke, and even grabbed a mic in Las Vegas.
- I love all things that are animal print!
