Shop with a Firefighter

As we celebrate with family and friends during the holidays, it is important to keep in mind the children of our community who are less fortunate. The Purdue University Fire Department hosts the annual Shop with a Firefighter event. With the help of several local businesses, private donors, firefighters and co-workers, the department is able to make the holidays a little brighter for a few local children.

To help support this event, monetary donations can be made or the public can support the department during annual fundraising events. This year, the fire department is hosting a fundraiser at Nine Irish Brothers in West Lafayette on Nov. 15 from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. A portion of sales will be donated to PUFD for the shopping event.

The fire department is also planning another fundraising event at Nine Irish Brothers in West Lafayette. More information will be communicated once event details are finalized.
