The Roger C. Stewart Leadership & Professional Development Department (LEAD) focuses on the development of students’ leadership knowledge and abilities and professional skills. This is done through direct student engagement and support, providing experiences, and the promotion of research-based leadership competencies and curriculums. We teach students to connect their classroom and out-of-class experiences to build greater meaning out of their Purdue education to prepare them to facilitate positive change in local, national, and global communities.
