Arthur G. Hansen Recognition Award

Presented by the Purdue University Retirees Association and the Office of the President to the university unit that excels in fostering a strong relationship between Purdue and its retirees. Located on the second floor of the PMU, this award is given in honor of Arthur G. Hansen, who served as Purdue President from 1971-1982. During Hansen’s tenure, Purdue founded the President’s Advisory Council on Retirement and the Purdue University Retirees.
