Master of Science in Cybersecurity and Trusted Systems Overview 

Offered fully online through the Purdue Polytechnic Institute’s School of Applied and Creative Computing, this master’s program is engineered for mid-career IT specialists, government and defense personnel, engineers pivoting into security and ambitious graduates ready to sharpen their technical edge. The 30-credit, non-thesis curriculum delivers rigorous applied learning across secure system design, network and cloud security, risk assessment, cryptography and IT policy and ethics, grounded in the same real-world frameworks that define today’s most demanding cybersecurity roles.

This 30-credit online master’s program provides a rigorous foundation in cybersecurity principles, risk management, secure systems and trusted technologies, while offering opportunities to specialize through embedded graduate certificates or elective pathways in four areas.

The admissions process selects highly qualified applicants into the MS program by considering each of the following criteria in judging the overall strength of the applicant. Typically, no single criterion is used as a sole determinant for admission. 

English Proficiency is required for International applicants only. TOEFL, IELTS, PTE or Duolingo scores are required unless waived under Graduate School policy.
