NISO week is a bundled week of information sessions on the distinguished awards NISO coordinates and how to secure our campus endorsement. Below is the schedule of events for this year's NISO week.

NISO Open House
9 AM - 12 NOON / HCRS 1060
Open event for anyone who wants to learn more about the National and International Scholarships Office. Staff will be available to chat and share information about our mission.
RSVPGoldwater & Astronaut Scholarships - Info Session
5:30 PM / HCRS 1076
This session will provide information about both scholarships as their missions are similar: to keep the U.S. on the forefront of scientific/technological discovery. They pursue that mission by funding academically excellent STEM students interested in a doctoral level research career. The session will accommodate students up through current juniors.

Truman Scholarships - Info Session
5 PM / HCRS 1066
Information session for the Truman Foundation, which awards the premier graduate fellowship for U.S. Citizens pursuing careers as public service leaders. Awards start at $30,000 in graduate school funding. The application is open to current juniors.

This session will provide general information on the Udall Scholarship, which supports undergraduates seeking to jump-start a career in the environment or Native American healthcare/policy. Application open to current sophomores and juniors.

Peace Corps Prep Certificate - Info Session

Peace Corps Prep aims to assist U.S. citizen undergraduates in building leadership skills and intercultural competencies. Those interested in areas of community transformation, humanitarian aid or international development will find value in this program even if not considering serving in the Peace Corps.

(Boren Awards, Gilman and Critical Language Scholarships and Fulbright U.S. Student Program) Learn about various scholarships that fund U.S. citizens as they pursue language learning, cultural immersion, teaching and research abroad during and after undergraduate studies. This session is for undergraduates, graduate students and recent alumni.
RSVPGlobal Graduate School Scholarships - Info Session

(Rhodes, Marshall, Gates Cambridge, Churchill, Schwarzman and Knight-Henessy Scholarships) These scholarships offer life-changing graduate study experiences and are designed to provide substantial funding for masters and doctoral degrees with most covering the full cost of attendance. Applications are open to juniors, seniors, graduate students and alumni.

Beinecke Scholarship - Info Session

This session will provide general information about the Beinecke Scholarship, which awards $34,000 to U.S. citizens toward graduate studies in the arts, humanities and social sciences. This scholarship is merit-based and need-based. If you are in the relevant fields of study and are unsure about pursuing graduate school, join us to discuss if/how the Beinecke Scholarship could impact your plans.
