Purdue senior Allison Boyd awarded prestigious Marshall Scholarship for graduate study in the UK

Allison Boyd, a first-generation college student from Purdue University, has been awarded the prestigious Marshall Scholarship. Initially uncertain about her future in aviation, Boyd found inspiration in Purdue’s aviation community, leading her to pursue a career in aviation policy. The Marshall Scholarship will enable Boyd to study in the UK, focusing on sustainability and workforce development in aviation.
Purdue students offered highly competitive Fulbright U.S. Student Program grants

Thirteen Purdue students have been offered Fulbright Grants to 12 different countries for 2024-25. The Fulbright U.S Student Program funds outstanding students to do research, study, or teach abroad for 8-12 months. Purdue’s National and International Scholarships Office facilitates the application process on campus. Oliva Anderson, Paige Fulkerson, Victoria Patellos, Sara Poulin, Emily Primm, Erin Rockhill, Andrea Untama and Arden Woodall have been offered Fulbright English Teaching Assistantships. Aditi Anand, Sara Cuevas-Quiñones, Paige Liebel, Julia McAulay and Isaac Wheeler have been offered Fulbright grants to undertake independent research.
Prestigious Astronaut Scholarships awarded to three Purdue students

Three Purdue students—Briana Chen, Santiago Lopez, and Shelby Sliger—have been named 2024 Astronaut Scholars, a prestigious award recognizing their outstanding achievements in STEM research. The Astronaut Scholarship offers them opportunities to connect with pioneers in their fields and network with fellow scholars at events like the Innovator’s Gala. Established by the Mercury 7 astronauts, this scholarship honors top STEM students nationwide, with Purdue recipients since 1987.
