Replay

Go to Replay

Replay is a web app designed to provide learners with a game-like interface for low-stakes quizzes in order to reinforce course objectives. The app allows learners to “play the game” – i.e. take a quiz – as many times as the instructor allows, building experience points as well as reinforcing the material.

As a learning tool, Replay uses some of the characteristics of games – like tallying scores on an anonymous leaderboard for the whole class to see and allowing players to earn different achievements – giving learners a sense of competitiveness and achievement.

Replay to be Decommissioned:
The technical infrastructure that powers Replay has reached the end of its lifecycle and can no longer be updated to meet the university’s current security and performance standards. Rather than rebuilding the system from the ground up, we are retiring the application to focus our support on modern, integrated tools that offer a more reliable experience for both faculty and students.
The upcoming timeline:

  • Fall 2026: Replay remains fully available for your classes.
  • January 2027: Access becomes instructor-only so you can retrieve your content.
  • March 2027: Replay is fully decommissioned and will no longer be accessible.
