ink2html

Go to ink2html
a purple ink drop between angle brackets, followed by the wordmark 'ink2html' in bold purple text

ink2html helps Purdue instructors and staff convert their handwritten and/or printed lecture notes to accessible HTML format. Specializing in STEM-based content, the AI-powered tool uses optical character recognition (OCR) to transcribe your content and describe charts and figures within your notes to help support digital content accessibility. ink2html produces WCAG 2.2 level AA compliant HTML that can be uploaded to your Brightspace course in place of inaccessible scanned images or PDFs of your notes.

ink2html is a complement to the accessibility tool suite, including Yuja Panorama, and is meant to fill the gap in STEM content remediation. This tool’s use of AI is approved by Purdue IT to use only for non FERPA-protected data.
