Support the Purdue-India Partnership

Purdue continually strives to broaden and deepen the scope of activities that the university can support under the India Strategic Partnership Initiative. Since 2013, Purdue has offered faculty seed grants to strengthen research partnerships and student exchange activities in India, launched a new undergraduate research program PURE, and launched an annual virtual career fair, aimed at helping Indian students find job and internship opportunities. A gift to the India Initiative fund will support activities such as these that help build sustainable relationships between Purdue and India. 2,782 Indian students call Purdue home and 265 faculty of Indian origin provide instruction and engage in world-changing research on campus and with partner institutions in India. Purdue has a strong and growing alumni network in India and increasing numbers of collaborations with corporate and institutional partners. Purdue is committed to long-term strategic engagement with India and your gift will have an immediate impact.

If you would prefer to give to a specific cause that would benefit Indian students or faculty at Purdue, or are interested in creating a new professorship or other specific type of gift, please contact Purdue-India Partnership Director Heidi Arola at harola@purdue.edu.

Indian Emerging Scholar Fund

If you prefer to give a gift within India that will still benefit Purdue, you might also consider contributing to the Indian Emerging Scholars program, a scholarship fund established by Purdue alumnus Venu Srinivasan, Chairman and Managing Director of TVS Motor Company, to help Purdue attract the best and brightest Indian undergraduates to campus.
