India is a country of top strategic importance to Purdue and the Purdue-India relationship spans over 125 years of exchange, investment, research, and cooperation. Currently, more than 2,700 Indian students call Purdue home and 265 faculty of Indian origin provide instruction and engage in world-changing research on campus and with partner institutions in India. Purdue has a strong and growing alumni network in India and increasing numbers of collaborations with corporate and institutional partners. The University is committed to long-term strategic engagement with India.
