The Purdue Horticulture Society embarked on the annual spring trip on March 28-30.  This year the club picked Louisville to explore a botanical garden and arboretum. The Purdue Horticulture Society and Purdue Student Farm Organization learned about grape harvesting from Miranda Purcell and picked apples for Food Finders on September 9th. In addition to harvesting, the students had the opportunity to taste several grape cultivars.



The Purdue Horticulture Society held the end-of-the-semester dinner on April 24th at Walt’s Pub.  In addition to announcing new officers, thanking previous officers, and presenting Hannah Beck with the (newly named) Dr. Mike Dana Outstanding Member Award. 2 On Wednesday, October 18, the Purdue Horticulture Society, Purdue Student Farm Organization, and Purdue American Society of Landscape Architects came together for a festive gathering at Meigs Horticulture Research Farm, rolling up their sleeves to harvest and carve pumpkins.
