Undergraduate Education Opportunities

SURF Program

VACCINE hosts many students every summer as a part of Purdue University’s SURF (Summer Undergraduate Research Fellowships) Program. The program allows students to conduct research and work closely with our graduate students and research assistants in the VACCINE research laboratory, and it gives them the ability to explore, discover, and transform ideas into reality. For more information about the SURF Program, visit https://engineering.purdue.edu/Engr/Research/SURF.

Summer Research Experiences for Federal Service Academies

The Department of Homeland Security Science and Technology Directorate (DHS S&T) and the Department of Defense (DOD) partnered to create a program that fosters a research environment for future military leaders. The program is exclusive to DOD faculty, rising senior cadets, and midshipmen. For more information about this summer research opportunity, click here.
