A Leap from Lab: Career Event for Purdue Life Sciences

Meet some of Purdue's best and brighest at this career event being organized for students by students. Purdue Life Sciences encompasses top-ranked programs in such areas as agriculture (#9 in the world), agricultural and biological engineering (#1 in the U.S.), analytical chemistry program (#1 in the U.S.) and pharmacy (#9 in the U.S.). Select master's and PhD students from these fields and more will come together at A Leap from Lab to learn about career opportunities in industry, network with prospective employers and share their research findings.

Highlights of the day will include student-delivered talks on research, including immunology, infectious diseases, virology, veterinary sciences and systems biology; an employer panel discussion; career fair featuring one-on-one meetings with graduate students and postdoctoral investigators; and a networking reception. 

 

Sponsorship levels

  • Bronze Level (up to $250): Company’s name and logo on promotional materials and on signage at session breaks 
  • Silver Level ($251 to $750): Bronze Level benefits plus a career fair booth and private space for one-on-one interviews
  • Gold Level ($751 and above): Bronze and Silver Level benefits plus company participation in employer-panel discussion
