Translational Program

In order to advance potential drugs into clinical trials, a panel of tests are required before an Investigatory New Drug (IND) application can be submitted to the FDA.

The Institute for Drug Discovery has assisted faculty in their endeavors to translate their drugs into the clinic by providing assistance to perform some of these IND-enabling studies and performing the clinical trials themselves.
