Leadership and Organizational Development Core Services
- Leadership video
- Purpose: To enhance the supervisor's awareness of the needs of the unit. This is a highly interactive course designed to assess the unit needs from the perspective of the participant's supervisor, peers, and direct reports. During the workshop the supervisor begins shaping his/her managerial legacy as they align their supervisory skills to fit unit needs.
- Audience: All supervisors and aspiring supervisors
- Availability: This 3 hour course is offered biweekly

- Purpose: To inspire Purdue's supervisors, faculty, and staff to engage in a series of meaningful conversations resulting in actions that create shared success for the employee and University. Participants are introduced to coaching models and three common coaching conversations. Learners practice applying the coaching mindset and coaching tools throughout this lively, dynamic session.

- Purpose:To expand the personal libraries of Purdue faculty and staff by providing access to leading publications. This service provides access to over 8,000 publications in abstract format – a huge time saver. Faculty and staff can use the online search function or suggested reading list. Abstracts may be downloaded, copied, and shared within Purdue’s workforce to help promote individual and team development.

- Purpose: To provide just-in-time HR policy support to supervisors and the workforce. This online learning tool is designed to help guide the workforce through procedures, paperwork, and interpersonal approaches for managing key HR policies and workforce practices.

- Purpose: Introduce supervisors to Purdue’s leadership assessment and coaching services. This course provides an introduction to Purdue’s leadership criteria, leadership assessment tool, and reports. This program is a must have for supervisors interested in exploring the perceptions of their boss, peers, direct reports, and key stakeholders to unlock leadership potential.

- Availability: Register for a 1 hour orientation session
- Related Developmental Opportunities: Fundamentals of Leadership
- Purpose: To inspire career exploration discussions across the University. This session is designed to bring the personal needs and wants of the employee to the forefront of the work conversation. Participants identify their top core work values, skill strengths, and ideal job conditions. The CDM course reinforces and offers ways to obtain ideal job fit. We call this ideal job state the "Apex".
- Audience: All supervisors, faculty, and staff
- Availability: This full day course is offered twice per month. Individual exercises can be completed online. For optimal effect, participants are encouraged to take the full day workshop.

Workforce Engagement (in development)
- Purpose: To nurture the relationship between the supervisor and his/her direct reports. The course will define key channels for building and strengthening the supervisor/direct report relationship, and provide strategies for enhancing short-term and long-term relationships.
