Visitor Parking
Parking information for campus visitors is described below, including how to avoid receiving a citation or being towed and multiple locations where parking may be available at various rates.
Successful Visitor Tips
Individuals who are visiting campus should be aware of and follow Purdue's Traffic and Parking Regulations (PDF), including the ones highlighted below.
-
Motorists should pull forward into a parking space with the vehicle's license plate facing the drive lane for enforcement purposes. Individuals who back into a parking space or do not have have the license plate visible are subject to receiving a citation.
-
Vehicles may not be stored in any parking lot or garage for longer than 24 hours, unless otherwise indicated, without permission from the Parking Facilities office. Any vehicle in violation of this may be towed at the owner's expense.

Campus visitor parking is available at various locations, including two parking garages.
The Grant Street Parking Garage is located at 120 N. Grant Street, West Lafayette, IN 47906 across from the Purdue Memorial Union.
The Harrison Street Parking Garage is located at 719 Clinic Drive, West Lafayette, IN 47907.
Visitors parking in these garages will be assessed the following hourly rates that apply 24/7:

The Harrison Street Parking Garage utilizes the pay-in lane option only as no pay station is available. Only debit or credit cards are accepted.
Daily Permit
With the purchase of a daily permit ($5.00 per day), visitors may park in any "A", "B" or "C" space (unless restrictions are posted that indicate otherwise), excluding those in the Grant Street or Harrison Street Parking Garages. Daily permit parking is valid from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
"A", "B" or "C" parking may be restricted at any time and for any reason, including near athletic facilities for events, due to maintenance or construction, or others. Posted restrictions in parking garages or lots will be enforced. Visitors who park in violation of posted restrictions may be subject to receiving a parking citation, or the vehicle may be towed at the owner's expense.
Daily visitor parking permits must be purchased online. Review the online parking map (PDF) for permit locations.
