Faculty, staff and students can learn about the storage options available for their vehicles over university breaks.

Summer Temporary Vehicle Storage

Vehicles that remain on campus for 24 hours or longer from early May to mid August must be permitted and stored according to the directions provided below.

Enforcement

All campus parking locations will be enforced over the summer months. Vehicles that are parked without a valid permit for 24 hours or longer will be subject to receiving a citation and may be impounded at the owner’s expense.

Faculty, staff or students who temporarily store their vehicles in a different campus location for the summer should return them to their regularly assigned parking locations prior to 7 a.m. on the first day of the fall semester. Normal parking enforcement will resume at that time.

Permits

The following temporary vehicle storage permit options are available for summer:

  • 10-day permit: $15
  • 30-day permit: $30
  • Full summer permit: $90

Individuals who purchase one of these permits will be allowed to store their vehicle in a non-reserved space only in the McCutcheon Drive Parking Garage from early May to mid August. Please be sure that your vehicle’s registration is current and will not lapse over the summer months. Vehicles with expired plates will be subject to receiving a citation.

You will be notified through email within 1-2 business days of submission when you are eligible to purchase the permit through the online parking portal.
