It is important to check your task list regularly, as new items will appear in the weeks leading up to your first semester. |

A description of these task items can be found in your task list. Please note that if you are a transfer student or an international student, you may see a different set of task items intended to support your unique transition. Soon, you will also receive an email about our new student Orientation Programs, a four-step experience to welcome you " All Aboard Purdue ." Our office will continue to email you between now and the end of the first week of classes. Make sure to pay special attention to the information so your transition is as smooth as possible. Ensure you begin to regularly check your Purdue and personal email accounts to stay up-to-date with many important Purdue communications. Below are a few more resources you may find helpful right now:
- Purdue IT — Purdue wants you to stay connected and secure. This site addresses some common tips, like access to free Microsoft Office products, setting up two-factor authentication for added security, and what kind of computer to bring to Purdue.
- First-Generation — Approximately 15% of our undergraduates at Purdue are first-generation students. This site outlines specific resources that may be helpful for students who are the first in their family to attend college.
