Purdue 101 now open for spring beginners

Before arriving to campus, all students are required to complete Purdue 101, an introductory Brightspace course. Purdue 101 may be completed at your own pace, but students must complete the Purdue 101 online modules before they can schedule a meeting with their academic advisor. Purdue 101 is open now!

Registration for Boiler Cold Rush now open

Boiler Cold Rush is our welcome weekend orientation program for new undergraduate students admitted to Purdue for the Spring semester. You’ll learn about campus traditions, Purdue culture and University resources. It’s also a great chance to make lasting friendships and learn how to be a successful Boilermaker. Registration is open now!

Programs For Spring 2023 Beginners

STEP 1

This required, self-led virtual module in Brightspace guides students through campus resources and provides information on Purdue's course planning and advising processes. New students are automatically enrolled.

STEP 2

Purdue
Advising

Once Step 1 is complete, students will receive an email from an academic advisor about scheduling their first advising appointment. Students fill out their course request form after they meet with an advisor.

This self-led virtual module in Brightspace focuses on resources related to students' transition to campus and adjusting to college life. New students are asked to complete this module before they arrive.

STEP 4

Welcome

Students may also participate in  Boiler Cold Rush, our spring welcome weekend. Students may alternatively participate in Bands, PMO, or Athletics spring programs.
