Orientation Programs Team Leaders

The Team Leader position is an entry-level leadership role that supports the mission and vision of Orientation Programs, Student Success Programs, and Purdue University. Team Leaders work to create an inclusive environment that enhances the growth and development of new students. The mission of Orientation Programs is to introduce and connect all new undergraduate students to Purdue University through student and staff led academic and social programming to prepare them for their Purdue experience.

All Team Leaders are responsible for actively participating in Team Leader Trainings, events, and programs throughout the Spring semester as well as providing support to new students during the week of Boiler Gold Rush International and Boiler Gold Rush.

West Lafayette and indianapolis team leader requirements

At this time, the application for the Team Supervisor position for Orientation Programs in West Lafayette and Indianapolis is closed.

Team Leaders who live in University Residences for Fall 2027 will be provided early move in for housing. Team Leaders living off-campus will need to arrange their move in to return by the dates below. All Team Leaders selected for Boiler Gold Rush 2027 will need to return to their respective Indianapolis or West Lafayette campus in early August. These dates will be provided in early spring of 2027.
